So-Cal Remodelers Council Announces New Course Location August 2014

July 2, 2014–Los Angeles, California- The BIA Southern California Remodelers Council and staff are excited to announce their new San Bernardino location for the up-coming August multi-state certified courses.  The courses include Certified Aging In Place and Business Management For Building Professionals and the certifications apply  outside of California as well. See the scheduled arrangements, dates and times listed below.
Business Management for Building Professionals Multi-State Certified Course

Design/Build Solutions For Aging & Accessibility (CAPS ll) Multi-State Certified Course

The Caps II course will help you understand the guidelines and requirements of accessibility, the importance of doing an assessment with input from occupational and physical therapists as well as qualified health care professionals, and the significance of good design in making modifications that can transform a house into a safe, attractive, and comfortable home for life.

Become a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)
The BIASC Remodelers Council is proud to offer NAHB Educational Courses that provide opportunities for professional growth on a personal, and company-wide level. With such a rapidly expanding active adult housing market, the need for construction professionals capable of building, renovating and retrofitting to the stringent codes and requirements required on all such projects is greater than ever before.  BIASC’s Remodelers Council is now offering courses for becoming a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS).  Participants must complete the CAPS I & II courses and the Business Management for Building Professionals course to earn their official CAPS certification.
